Shaylee is discovering the entertainment of toys. She played with her first toy, a rattle, while visiting her grandparents over spring break.

Today Shaylee learned to brush her hair. Yes, I am aware that her hair brush resembles a toothbrush.

Shaylee's First Smiling Picture

Hey all. I figured we would start a blog, mainly so we could give updates and pictures of Shay. She is all about the smiles these days. She loves to play 'you have a little nose', a game that basically consists of touching her nose and saying "You have a little nose." As silly as it sounds, she loves it (that is how I got her to smile for this picture). She loves to be held up so that she can stand on her legs and wobble back and forth. At just over six weeks old, she is doing her best to be more advanced than the average, everyday baby.
